The homebuilt “shitbox” EV 1987 Toyota 4Runner in lead against the big dog, Lordstown EV Brenthel built truck. The friends and family team completed 156 miles of the course before electrical issues brought the effort to a halt, the Lordstown truck completed just 37 miles before the batteries died, ending their day.
