Unlike traditional "dope and fabric" methods, Oratex doesn't require toxic chemicals, sanding, or a paint booth.
I’ll show you the entire process: from prepping the airframe and applying the heat-activated adhesive to the satisfying moment we shrink the fabric to drum-tight perfection. We’ll discuss why I chose Oratex, the weight savings involved, and the logistical nightmare that came with it. I will answer the real question - “Would I put Oratex on an airplane again?”
