Описание: Description: How to remove a broken Oil Control Valve from the engine of a 2005 Toyota Corolla. When I was attempting to remove the Oil Control Valve on my 2005 corolla, it broke in half, leaving part of it inside the engine. I could not remove it with chanlocks or pliers. So after thinking it through for a couple of days, came up with the idea of lodge something into the piece in the engine to see if that would work. After trying several items, I though about this idea. So I wen to the local hardware store--Lowes or Home Depot and picked up a size 1/2 inch X 5 inch lag screw. I used a 1/2 drive racket and socket to turn the lag screw. Inserted the lag screw into the broken piece in the engine and screwed the lag screw clockwise until it became snug. Within 2 or 3 turns of the racket, the broken piece started to turn, and came out without any problems. It came out without leaving any metal behind. I used angled needle nose pliers to remove the cylinder piece before inserting the lag screw. See the short video attached which states the size of the lag screw as 5/8; however it's 1/2 inch X 5 inches in length (but any length should work). You should not need to use a hammer or anything to drive the screw into the engine, but only need a screw that fits without too much pressure.
