Dark night in the Amazon rainforest - Jungle sounds

Описание: The soundscape changes in Amazon rainforest as dusk descends on the jungle. Minutes earlier it was lively and lush, full of birds and other wildlife calling. Now it's become louder, more intense but less varied at a first listen. The insect and frog calls are almost deafening, occupying a higher range in the frequency spectrum and changing much more slowly over time.

They do change though. No minute is exactly the same as the previous or the following one. The symphony of wildlife in the rainforest is more minimalistic but piercing and almost electronic. It takes a while to get accustomed to being surrounded by these sounds, but once you do it's like they've always been there.

Sleeping in a tent or hammock in the depths of the rainforest seems unsettling at first. The transition from feeling like an uninvited visitor to being accepted by the rainforest takes time and effort, but it feels amazing when it eventually happens. You snuggle down in your sleeping bag and descend in a peaceful slumber as the rhythm of the jungle surrounds you.
