In the world of strongman, perhaps no other number holds as much weight as the number 5.

While a few names were able to win the World’s Strongest Man title 3 times or more, only one man could do it 5 times.

Dubbed “The Dominator”, Mariusz Pudzianowski didn’t just win; he bent the sport to his will. With the speed of a sprinter, a grip like a vise, and the physique of an elite bodybuilder, he unleashed an unprecedented domination on the most coveted title in all of strongman.

Nothing could stop Mariusz, not even prison. When he was incarcerated for 19 months for beating up a local mafia boss, he still won his first World’s Strongest Man title fresh out of prison.

When he was disqualified for drug use, he still came back the next year and won his third title.

And when he won his 5th record-shattering title, he did it with a calf injury.

From an ex-con, to an elite strongman, to a veteran MMA fighter, this is how Mariusz Pudzianowski became the most dominant man in strongman history.
