In today's video I'm exploring Chiang Rai, Thailand's northernmost city. It's just a short drive from the border with Myanmar and the weather is so much cooler than in Bangkok.
Chiang Rai has a lot of temples, the most famous of which is the Blue Temple. The White Temple is located outside of the city and shall be explored in a different video.
During my explorations I find a scenic lunch spot and stumble upon a weekend market.
