Описание: Burlington Northern, Norfolk Southern 1991 Plus More; GP38-2, U23B, C30-7, SD40-2, SD60! Rails from Duluth to Denver 1991-1992 opens on the North Shore Scenic, a tourist pike based in Duluth, Minnesota. Battling a snow storm along Lake Superior, GP7 652 and two de-powered Rail Diesel Cars head up the Christmas Special to Palmers and return. Other Midwestern Railroads include Burlington Northern, Conrail, Illinois Central, Norfolk Southern and the Santa Fe Warbonnets. West of Denver, Colorado, the Denver & Rio Grande Western operated its Ski Train to Winter Park, through the Moffat Tunnel under the Continental Divide. Amtrak's daily California Zephyr ran behind the Ski Train, westbound through lovely mountainous snowscapes and spectacular scenery. Finally, snowscapes beautify the Denver-Pueblo Joint Lines along the Front Range. From Chicago & North Western and North Shore Scenic GP7 diesels in the Upper Midwest, to historic BN executive fleet F9 diesels at Denver Union Station, there is much railroading to be seen between Duluth and Denver during the early 1990s.
