It's nearly the end of the year, which means its that time when Spotify and Apple Music release all the data on who and what we've been listening to with their end of year wraps! And it may come as a surprise to, well, absolutely nobody, that Taylor Swift dominated again this year. She was Spotify's most streamed artist here in Australia, and around the rest of the world too. As far as local Aussie artists go, we streamed The Wiggles the most, followed by The Kid LAROI. As for our favourite song this year, Spotify users around the world couldn't stop streaming Sabrina Carpenters hit 'Espresso', and you'll probably have it stuck in your head after this...sorry guys! While over on Apple music, the world loved a bit of Kendrick Lamar, and Aussies couldn't get enough of Beautiful Things by Benson Boone.

AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF SPORT AWARDS 
Some of Australia's best athletes were celebrated last night at The Australian Institute of Sport Awards! Lauren Parker took out performance of the year for her achievements at the Paralympics, winning gold in the para-triathlon and the para-cycling. And teen skateboarding star Arisa Trew, took home the emerging athlete of the year award.

ARYA THE WATERSKIIER
This is Ayra, and ever since she was little, she's loved waterskiing! But three years ago, Ayra was involved in a serious boating accident, which damaged her leg and the fingers on her left hand, and that made waterskiing as she knew it, pretty difficult. But she didn't let that stop her. After years of rehabilitation, some modifications to her technique, and a lot of training, she's now heading to the World Disabled Water Ski Championships next year, to compete on the big stage!

ROBOT BIRD
What do you get when you add a bird and a robot together? Well, apparently, you get… RAVEN! This new machine has been developed to move like a bird, both in the air, and on the ground. RAVEN doesn't even need a runway to take off, so experts believe this robobird will eventually help with deliveries in remote locations.

NEO THE HUMANOID
Next equation, what do you get when you add a human and a robot together? This new humanoid robot has been made by a company called 1X, and is designed to help with household tasks. Everything from a good cuppa coffee to a good old conversation. It's one of the many humanoid robots vying to enter our homes. Gah.

SUNI WILLIAMS
And finally what do you get when you add a human and a knack for mathematics together? Well, ahh sometimes, you get a NASA astronaut like Suni Williams, who we actually got to hear from yesterday, when she answered some questions from students in her hometown!
