Make a quick and easy icing for your loaf cakes and try out this orange-flavored version! This recipe only needs four ingredients, for a fuss-free tangy icing perfect on cakes or loaves of your choice.
Ingredients:
1¾ cups powdered sugar
¼ cup orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tsp unsalted butter, softened
Blueberry loaf or any loaf cake of your choice, baked and cooled
⬇️ How to make Orange Icing ⬇️
0:09 Combine the sugar, orange juice, and orange zest. Whisk until smooth and there are no lumps.
0:30 Add in the butter then whisk together again until smooth. If it is not pourable, you can microwave it for 30 seconds or so.
0:44 Let the mixture sit if you microwaved it, otherwise, you can pour it over your loaf cake and allow it to set before serving.
