In this video I test the Hattons/Heljan 0 gauge Flying Scotsman.
Testing running
Pulling power
Performance of Kadee couplers fitted in last video.
Then go to the workshop where I make a back to back gauge and test the loco wheel back to backs.
Finally clean the wheels.
I am having issues with this loco. It was bought when discounted but is it a good runner oir just a shelf queen.
There was a lot of hype about what good value this model was and a lot of praise for the project from other Youtubers. Did Hattons go too cheap and create a big green lemon or give us the good value A3 they promised.
Just after finishing the video I tried running the engine again but with track really clean and loco serviced. I ran into more problems.
