2 feet of black yarn for nose detail
2 feet of light blue embroidery floss to sew on buttons
4mm crochet hook
2 6mm black plastic eyes
Black plastic nose - or use black yarn
2 very small blue buttons
Small sewing needle
Crochet needle for attaching body parts
4 oz of fiber fill

Head:
Rnd 1 (RS): With CA, make a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring OR ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join with a sl st to beg sc - 6 sts.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around; join - 12 sts.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc in next st, 2 sc in next st (inc made)] 6 times; join - 18 sts.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, [sc in next 2 sts, inc] 6 times; join - 24 sts.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, [sc in next 3 sts, inc] 6 times; join - 30 sts.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, [sc in next 4 sts, inc] 6 times; join - 36 sts.
Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join - 36 sts.
Rnd 8: Place markers for eyes as follows: Ch 1, sc in next 14 sts, place marker, sc in next 6 sts, place marker, sc in next 16 sts; join - 36 sts.

Rnd 2: With CA, ch 1, 2 sc in each st around - 12 sts. Do not join.
Fasten off, leaving a 6 in (15.24 cm) tail for sewing.
NOSE:
Rnd 1 (RS): With CB, ch 2, 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join - 4 sts.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around; join - 8 sts.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around; join - 16 sts.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join - 16 sts.
Fasten off, leaving a 8 in (20.32 cm) tail for sewing.
Sew detail on Nose: Thread plastic needle with black yarn and use straight stitches to stitch features on nose over Rnds 1 and 2.
LEGS (MAKE 2) AND BODY:
Rnd 1 (RS): With CA, make a magic ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring OR ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook; join - 6 sts.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st around; join - 12 sts.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc in next 2 sts, inc] 4 times; join - 16 sts.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join - 16 sts.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, sc in next 5 sts, [dec] 3 times, sc in next 5 sts; join - 13 sts.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join, changing to CC in joining - 13 sts.
Fasten off CA.
Rnd 7: With CC, Ch 1, inc, sc in next 4 sts, dec, sc in next 5 sts, inc; join - 14 sts.
Fasten off. Follow Rnds 1-7 to make a 2nd leg, but do not fasten off. Shape body as follows:
Rnd 8: Ch 1, sc in next 11 sts, ch 1, join to the first leg with a sc in the 4 st after joining, sc in next 13 sts, sc in ch-1 space, sc in last 3 sts on first Leg; join - 30 sts. Note: The ch 1 by the join adds 2 stitches.
Rnd 9: Ch 1, sc in next 10 sts, inc, sc in next st, inc, sc in next 12 sts, inc, sc in next st, inc, sc in next 2 sts; join - 34 sts.
Note: It may be easier to add some stuffing to the legs at this point, before finishing the Body. Otherwise, stuff the Legs and the Body at the end.
Rnds 10-15: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join - 34 sts.
Rnd 16: Ch 1, [sc in next 5 sts, dec] 4 times, sc in next 4 sts, dec; join - 29 sts.
Rnd 17: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join - 29 sts.
Rnd 18: Ch 1, [sc in next 4 sts, dec] 4 times, sc in next 3 sts, dec; join - 24 sts.
Rnd 19: Ch 1, sc in each st around; join, changing to CB in joining - 24 sts.
Rnd 20: With CB, ch 1, [sc in next 6 sts, dec] 3 times; join - 21 sts.

Fasten off, leaving a 10 in (25.4 cm) tail for sewing.
BOW TIE:
Rnd 1 (RS): With CC, ch 4, 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in same ch, 3 dc in same sts.
Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Wrap the tail around the center several times to create the bow.
SUSPENDER STRAP:
With CC, ch 13.
Fasten off, leaving a tail on each end to sew to body.
Weave in all ends.
