According to the report, 6,000 terrorists of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) are operating from the Afghan side of the border. Despite growing distrust, TTP has maintained ties with the Taliban. The anti-Pakistan group is supporting Taliban in their fight against Afghan security forces. The TTP is traditionally located in the eastern districts of Nangarhar Province, near the border with Pakistan. Earlier, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani had lashed out at Imran Khan and Pakistan’s military for supporting the Taliban. Several top Afghan political leaders have also slammed Pakistan for supporting jihadi terrorists and the Taliban.
