Unedited film from April 1958 showing 4th street near Main in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Landmarks visible include Cimarron Ballroom (barely visible) and Orpheum Theater where movie Fort Dobbs is playing.
One scene is looking east on 4th toward Main and Boston. Other scene is looking west on 4th toward Boulder & Cheyenne.
Retro Tulsa is a project of video producer Jack Frank as his way to show off vintage film clips and stories. Jack has a vast collection of 16mm and 8mm archival films.
Jack has produced a series of TV shows and documentaries in the past, under the banner Tulsa History Series.
