Building a Colorado Pine Epoxy Desk | Live Edge Woodworking Project

Описание: Welcome back to the workshop! In this video, I'm building a custom desk using beautiful Colorado native pine from the Rocky Mountains. Watch as I take this stunning piece of local wood through the entire process - from rough lumber to a polished epoxy river desk.

This build features:
🪵 Colorado native pine with incredible natural grain patterns
✨ Epoxy river pour technique
🔨 Lots of sanding (my least favorite part!)
💎 Polishing and finishing for that glass-like shine

The process includes mold building, taping and sealing, multiple epoxy pours, hours of sanding from rough to 400 grit, and careful polishing to bring out the beauty in both the wood and epoxy. Working with two different materials (wood and epoxy) requires patience and technique to avoid heat damage while achieving that perfect smooth finish.
