Martin has added 7 new models to their Modern Deluxe series, and we have each and every one on order. VTS stands for Vintage Tone System, or Martin's proprietary method of torrefaction - where the wood is heated in a low oxygen environment, and the molecular structure of the wood is changed at the cellular level. The result is a soundboard that reacts & sounds like it's 60-80 years old! The D-42 Modern Deluxe also features liquid metal bridge pins, gold Evo fretwire, gold tuners & beautiful maple binding. Not fancy enough for ya? Martin has also introduced a D-45 Modern Deluxe - equipped with all the goodness of the D-42 plus extra pearl, AND a gorgeous torch headstock inlay!
