Even trying to remove Valgavoth costs life, and rewards you with more cards.

Valgavoth turns the group-slug archetype into a real engine. As soon as your opponents lose life on their own turns, you draw cards and your commander grows. With the right setup, Valgavoth easily draws you three extra cards every turn cycle while becoming a massive flying threat at the same time.

This deck is built around small, persistent sources of damage that make sure nobody ever gets a free turn. The pressure never stops and your opponents won’t even realize how low they are until it’s already too late.

If you enjoy oppressive control decks that don’t rely on tutors or infinite combos, this is one of the most unique and satisfying Rakdos commanders you can pilot.
