This will be a quick phonics lesson for adults to help you learn American English pronunciation. Today we will do lesson 1 in the Level 3 Adult Phonics series. We will use the long vowel A in today's Phonics Lesson. We will learn the long vowel AKE sound and 4 words. You will learn how to say Bake, Cake, Lake, and Rake with an American English accent. Next, we will learn the long vowel APE sound and 2 words. You will learn how to say Cape and Tape with an American English accent. Then we will learn the long vowel AVE sound and 2 words. You will learn how to say Cave and Wave with an American English accent. Let's study together with this quick phonics lesson for adults and learn to read with an American English accent. I will show you how to correctly pronounce the Long A vowel in words. I also have IPA pronunciation to help you pronounce the sounds. Let's learn how to read instead of memorizing the IPA sounds. I want you to learn how to truly read without the IPA, but it is there to help you.
