It's that time of year when SEPTA does the annual summer maintenance blitz in the trolley tunnel used by Routes T1 through T5. While that work goes on, trolleys detour to 40th & Market for connections to the L line at 40th Street station.
Part of the detour for routes T2 through T5 is along 42nd Street. In this video, you'll see trolleys turning on and off their regular routes at 42nd & Woodland, 42nd & Chester, and 42nd & Baltimore.
Due to a programming glitch in a recent destination sign update, all westbound T2 trolleys were displaying their old Route 34 designations instead of flipping between the old and current routes 34/T2.
