Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh recently inspected the Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) project in Kavaratti, Lakshadweep. 3. NITI Aayog and UNICEF Agreement
NITI Aayog and UNICEF India signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) on March 5, 2026. The partnership aims to strengthen maternal and child nutrition outcomes, specifically targeting India's Aspirational Districts and Blocks through better last-mile service delivery

9. Family Benefit Management System (FBMS)
Andhra PradeshCM Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to develop the FBMS, a data-driven system using 26 key datapoints (Aadhaar, Rice Card, etc.) to treat each household as a single unit for the seamless delivery of welfare schemes and "Smart Family Cards."
