The day was grey, and the clouds were impressive. This Zen Walk takes you downhill, unveiling unbelievable views over Lisbon, and saunters through a deserted magical pathway along the south bank of the Tejo river. Let yourself be led on a deeply relaxing walk, discovering one of Lisbon's most stunning and unknown vistas.

Our walk starts at the top of Almada's panoramic elevator viewpoint, and goes downhill towards the old fishing wharf. We take a short relaxing break at Fonte da Pipa beach, and move along to the Jardim do Rio, where Lisbon's historic centre reveals itself under glorious rays of sun, on the other side of the river.
We continue our walk through Rua do Ginjal right until the town of Cacilhas, taking short stops to absorb the amazing views along the way. We then climb through the old Almada's streets and alleys back to the top, finishing at the Jardim do Castelo viewpoint - where you'll be offered breathtaking views over Lisbon, the Tejo river and the Ponte 25 de Abril, Lisbon's iconic bridge. This is truly a special Zen Walk, and one of our favourites.
