Early in the morning I drove up to the local mountain range here in Las Vegas to push my 1978 Datsun 280z to it's very limits so that I can show you what it's like to drive a Classic Nissan Z.

My Datsun 280z started life as a 100% bone stock car and over the years we've modified it in ways that have added quality to the driving experience. The exterior has been modified with carbon fiber front and rear valence/spoilers, it has new rims, big brake kit from techno toy tuning, techno toy tuning T3 coilovers, a new fuel system, ignition system, Bluetooth distributor by 123 ignition, fuel rail and AN lines for security, and an exhaust, a 5 speed transmission from a 280zx, and an LSD.

The interior has been completely redon by a local upholstery shop, I know there will be questions on it so reach out to my friends at Ian's Auto interiors here in Las Vegas, they do incredible work.

These cars require patience and respect to drive fast, you need to be delicate and deliberate with your actions and you need to realize that the car doesn't have anti-lock brakes ABS or traction control. Downshifts come easy in this car and they're so satisfying!
