Scott co-founded his first company back in 1997 and went on to scale it internationally across Asia, the US, and Europe before successfully exiting in 2017. He stayed on for another five years after the acquisition, eventually stepping away in 2022 feeling burnt out, but also carrying a huge amount of hard-earned experience about what it really takes to build and sustain a global business through tough financial periods, pressure, and long growth cycles.

But retirement didn’t last long.

Scott is now the co-founder and CEO of Aurovian, a MedTech startup developing wearable biosensor technology that can monitor therapeutic drug levels in real time. The first focus is lithium monitoring for bipolar disorder patients, with the goal of enabling more precise, personalised treatment while reducing suicide risk and preventing toxic side effects.

Working alongside co-founder Andrew Hazelton and collaborating with King’s College London, Scott is bringing decades of founder experience into what is now a five-year MedTech journey, moving forward one milestone at a time.
