Hiking in Bucegi Mountains in Romania: Cabana Malaiesti Hike. The mountain chalet is located at an altitude of 1720 m and it is said to be in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Bucegi mountains, in Romania.

This is a 6-hour hike (total) and it's an easy to medium hike. It was the first time I took my dog along for a hike and he loved it. We might have spoiled him and carried him too much but we had a great time.

The starting point for this hike is in Rasnov, and you can park around here 45.502767, 25.467642. The trail is marked by a blue line and it's mostly through the woods. It gets crowded during summer weekends, so I recommend avoiding the weekends. This was filmed on a weekend in July 2020.
