Itsy Bitsy Spider rhymes for Toddlers and kids with twist
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout,
Down came the rain and washed poor spider out.
Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain,
But spider looked around and thought, “Can I try again?”
Then came a ladybug, with spots all bright and round,
She said, “Don’t you worry, I’ll help you off the ground!”
Along came a butterfly, gentle, kind, and true,
And soon a busy ant marched in to help him too.
The itsy bitsy spider smiled and raised his head,
“With friends all around me, I’ll climb with joy instead!”
They all held together, as teamwork gave them might,
Step by step they lifted, and reached the top so bright.
The raindrops tried to scare them, splashing all about,
But friends formed a circle, to keep the raindrops out.
The sunshine cheered above them, and sent a golden ray,
And all the little friends sang happily that day.
The itsy bitsy spider reached the spout’s high end,
But this time he was stronger, with courage and a friend.
He waved to all his helpers, with laughter full of cheer,
“Together we can do it, with friends so always near!”
