In this video we are visiting the Ngorongoro crater in the northern part of Tanzania for a safari. The magnificent Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. This crater is one of the top safari destinations in the world. In the crater are about 25,000 large animals living, mostly ungulates. Large mammals include the black rhinoceros, the African buffalo or Cape buffalo, and the hippopotamus. There also are many other ungulates: the blue wildebeest, Grant's zebra, the eland, and Grant's and Thomson's gazelles. Waterbucks occur mainly near Lerai Forest.
