John Simon is a young, up-and-coming shaper from Ventura, California. He's a stellar surfer following in the footsteps of great surfers shapers like Wayne Rich and Ryan Burch. In this video, he discusses the Simon Quad Type I and Simon Quad Type II, very different fin templates with very different purposes. One is built for a bigger board to increase maneuverability and the other is a fresh take on a high-performance shortboard quad set with a unique hatchet tip.
