Hi and welcome to this weeks video. This one is all about renovating a pair of, what we believe to be, mid-century, beech chairs. These were very kindly donated to us by Kate at / house_builds_the_girl please check her instagram page if you love anything to do with home decor, I'm sure you love it.
The chairs came from a school and look like they've been recovered in the past. Originally they look to have been upholstered in a red vinyl. The frames themselves were very solid and only needed stripping back, quite a lot of work as it turned out!
As for the fabric we chose to use some remnants we had on hand, giving use the choice to mix it up a bit, as you'll see in the video. This is where we'd like your input, in the comments below please tell us whether you prefer the backs and seats matching or mixed up.
