This time, we will work on a popular Seiko movement, 7S26. No dramas. I made some amateur mistakes though.
This is an entry-level automatic watch. Actually, it is solid and something more than the price. It has no manual winding system, but it won't be a problem as an everyday watch. Also, it will be an excellent entry-point movement for watch restoration practice. Seiko provides a comprehensive technical guide for this movement. Many professional watchmakers show how-to on YouTube. Even if we fail catastrophically, we can buy a replacement for less than $50.
