Felt a bit like hard work this morning. Had to constantly keep on the move. Once I'd caught one or two they'd either move on, shut-up shop, or disappear. I guess that's impoundment fishing for you.
I only managed one or two on metals, strangely. Soft plastics, specifically 3" Gulp Swimming Mullet in green prawn got me most of my fish and bites.
It feels very end of season in the lakes and dams at the moment, to me anyway.
The bass have become harder to find, persuade and catch. But hey, they gotta' eat! :-)
