Are Classic MMOs actually better?

Описание: ​‪@JoshStrifeHayes‬ is an MMO and RPG content creator of great renown. He is known for his insightful and incredibly well research videos. His topical approach brings in psychology and common sense. His videos on MMOs and RPGs are some of the best on the platform and I’ve always enjoyed watching them as a fan, but when this subject came up: Old School MMOs I absolutely had to react to it. As a fan of the MMORPG genre since 1998 and a content creator since 2021 it only felt right to tackle Josh Strife Hayes’s video on what makes Classic MMOs feel better. The idea of struggle in MMOs versus immediate satisfaction and how and why so many modern MMORPG’s feel the way they do.

Now I’ll say right off that I agree with most of what Josh Strife Hayes says, but I do have one slightly more optimistic thought when it comes to the current state of MMOs and why I think a newer mmo with difficulty akin to the days of Everquest and Ultima Online may still thrive and why I hope those MMOs might be Ashes of Creation and Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
