Описание: Here are three fiddle tunes that survive in printed and manuscript sources connected to the southern British colonies including Jamaica and Virginia. I recorded these outside the original quarters of the Peyton-Randolph House in Colonial Williamsburg built originally in 1715 and modified in the 1750s. The fiddle is a homemade instrument made in 1830, typical of that played by African Americans.
