Описание: This particular bullstone is actually cited on the Ordnance Survey Explorer map. A stone with a circle drilled into it, bullseye stones were designed to regulate the flow of water taken off a main leat into a subsidiary channel. This example, on the 700-year-old Grimstone & Sortridge leat, still provides a fresh water source to inhabitants on the moor.
