Here's some exercises to add to your strength training programmes.
These are designed to specifically help improve strength and power from the top of the backswing.
A good place to set is 2-3 sets of 3 reps (5 second holds).
If you have any injuries, be careful. Particularly with history of low back pain, don't push too hard.
