When communism died in 1989 by far the most difficult challenge a newly independent Poland faced, was the building of positive relations with Ukraine. In this video we examine how despite all difficulties, Poland and Ukraine still managed to build positive relations. We also examine how Poland tried and failed to build positive relations with Belarus, and why Belarus will probably continue to be one of the main foreign policy challenges that Poland will face in the future.
