The Ontario Electricity Support Program provides a monthly credit directly on your electricity bill rather than a cash payment. Only the electricity account holder can receive the credit, and it applies to your primary residence. Most approved households receive the credit for two years, with longer eligibility for seniors and people receiving CPP Disability. The program is administered by the Ontario Energy Board.
