Looking for effective hip exercises you can do in a pool? This video demonstrates simple and effective pool exercises designed to strengthen your hips, glutes, and core.
You’ll start with hip flexion, raising your leg in front of you to work the hip flexors. Then, move into hip extension, raising your leg behind you to target the hamstrings and glutes. For a lateral challenge, you’ll also practice hip abduction by moving your leg out to the side.
These aquatic exercises are beginner-friendly and can be modified by holding onto the pool wall for balance or progressing to hands-free for an added core workout.
Perfect for anyone rehabbing an injury, looking to improve hip strength, or simply adding variety to their water workout routine.
