Описание: Michelle "Widgie" Goodeve flies the oldest aeroplane in "The Tiger Boys" collection, CF-ANT, a 1935 Taylor E-2 Cub which was the very first Cub to arrive in Canada. Original owner, Andy McKinnon, tied his Cub down next to a barn and, during a sudden spring thaw, all the snow slid off the roof and flattened the poor little machine. But Andy hung on to the remains and eventually gave it to Tom Dietrich & his "Tiger Boys" group, based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. They restored the little E-2 to as-good-as-new, original quality - including the single magneto, 40hp Continental Engine. The E-2 climbs & glides at 45 mph and cruises around 55mph! This was Michelle's first flight in the Cub and she seemed to enjoy herself. BTW: This aeroplane has NO brakes whatsoever!
