Everyone! you may find this VIDEO useful or pwede rin natin i-ignore but just a friendly reminder to all. Mga paps! Some of you are posting about Earl's top speed, mods, modifying sprockets, ways to get the max speeds etc..
Here is my take on that...
Your bike is designed and intended to be driven at moderate speeds, economy speed or a bit higher but not equal to that of the top speed (which is approx. 2x times of the eco speed).
Now, If you drive the bike at top speeds frequently, the internal parts of the engine and sprocket along with chain and tyres runs at the maximum level (almost twice) which deteriorate their life expectancy.
Besides at higher speeds the tyres increase in its temperature due to friction, eventually they wear off too early.
Same lang yan sa tao. Walk at a normal pace of 4km/hr. There would be no problem if tatakbo tayo at maximum as 20km/hr.
If we risks to outrun a bike at 30+ km/hr, we might succeed but couldn't keep up the pace. In the long run, we would turn up with over exhaustion or a cardiac arrest too.
In the same way, our Earl bike would over exhaust or couldn't exhaust the whole fuel in the combustion chamber resulting in knocking. It is a process where the fuel mixture is not completely exhausted, long time causes difficulty in the piston movements.
Note:
Do NOT speed your motorcycles, speed is dangerous not only for you but also for the fellow commuters.
Bakit po ginagawa natin to? Mostly the answer is 'SPEED THRILLS'.
Why should we NOT do it?
01.Dangerous, could be fatal.
02.Should be responsible towards family.
03.Deteriorating the engine.
04.Costly repairs.
You can only see the cons and no pros.
So going back. I am encouraging everyone on this group and I insist, DO NOT over speed your vehicles.
Hope this helps. Salamat po!
With respect mga paps,
Shushu Brothers
