Oscar Pistorius has been released on parole today after his conviction and sentencing for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius has been released into the care of his uncle who lives in an upmarket suburb in Pretoria. He's expected to attend programmes on gender-based violence and anger management.
He will also not be allowed to drink alcohol and he will have to get permission to travel or take employment.
