'Startling’ 75-Carat Aquamarine Amazes Expert in the Roadshow | Antiques Roadshow UK

Описание: All valuations were correct at the time of broadcast. Jewellery specialist John Benjamin examines a remarkable brooch clip set with an exceptionally large Brazilian aquamarine weighing around 75 carats. Purchased as a loose stone in Brazil in the 1920s or 30s and later mounted in the 1960s, its extraordinary size and natural colour place it among the finest examples seen on the Roadshow, but just how much could this striking family heirloom be worth? Filmed at Morden Hall Park in London in 2019.
