I solo hiked 70km across three days between Cape Jervis and Kings Beach. This is a section of the Heysen Trail that hugs the coast on the south side of Adelaide, occasionally ducking inland. It is stunning country with lots of different terrain including waterfalls, rolling green hills, beautiful isolated bays and long beaches. This is spring time, when everything is still green and the days are not too hot (ideal time of year in my opinion).
I started at Cape Jervis and camped at Trig Campground on night one and Balquhidder Campground on night two. It was significantly physically challenging to complete in 3 days and if I were to do it again I would spread it out over four or five days for a more relaxed journey. Still, I had a lot of fun and would highly recommend this hike.
