Описание: Creative Lights Forest Festival - The Lantern Parade - Rose Hill 2024
The Lantern Parade, featuring giant elephant lanterns, started from Rose Hill Community Centre on November 16, 2024. It was part of the Oxford Christmas Lights Festival, a city-wide festival organised by Oxford City Council each year. The Rose Hill festivities included over 60 creative activities for young people and families, leading up to a three-day Festival from November 15 to 17, 2024.
The incredible Horns of Plenty band led the parade around Rose Hill. Two artists who supported the young people with lantern-making were Emily Cooling (small lanterns) and Andrew 'Mani' Manson (large Elephants).
The Rose Hill Creative Lights Forest Festival was organised by Film Oxford, Rose Hill Junior Youth Club (RHJYC), and Rose Hill and Iffley Low Carbon (RHILC). It was funded by the Arts Council of England and Oxford City Council. Aimee Winkfield of RHJYC made this film.
