Watch highlights from the girls basketball action in fourth seeded Colonia’s 67-34 victory over 13th seeded J.P. Stevens in the GMCT Round of 16 on Wednesday night Colonia.
In the Greater Middlesex Conference Girls Basketball Tournament Round of 16, fourth seeded Colonia pulled away from a 24-19 second quarter lead with a 13-3 spurt to end the first half for 37-22 advantage, and went on to defeat 13th seeded J.P. Stevens, 67-34.
Sophomore Ivana Gidado led three Colonia players in double figures with a game high 17 points, while also collecting 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and a block. Aliyah Manley was a bright spot in defeat for Stevens with a team high 14 points and 8 rebounds.
