‘I’m fed up with this life’: Palestinians in Gaza face more hardship as makeshift shelters flood

Описание: The United Nations warned called on Tuesday for “immediate and substantial” international intervention in Gaza, as millions face heavy rain and flooding.

The onset of winter has turned camps in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis into pools of mud and water, making movement nearly impossible, local media reported.

Mohammed Ali, who has been displaced with his wife to a tent, made an emotional plea as he pointed to his soaked mattress and belongings: “I want to live. I’m fed up with this life.”

With over 1.7 million people remaining displaced in Gaza, many are crammed into shelters with limited access to water, food and medical care.
