This was a full two-day Indian fusion celebration at one of Somerset’s most elegant venues, and it had everything - colour, culture, comedy, and those quiet emotional moments that hit you when you least expect it.

Day one was Bengali Hindu tradition in full swing. Bridal prep buzzing with aunties and bridesmaids, the ballroom dressed with strung marigolds, and Natasha and Jason both wearing topor - intricately carved bamboo crowns honouring Natasha’s Bengali heritage. Natasha’s entrance was a moment: veiled behind betel leaves as she circled Jason, revealing her face at the Subho Drishti after the seven sacred steps. Powerful and genuinely unforgettable.

Jason’s arrival brought the swagger - a noisy procession from the gates, welcomed by Natasha’s family and marked with the traditional tikka. The ceremony itself was led by one of our favourite priests - equal parts spiritual leader and comedian - which made everything feel warm, interactive and full of joy. And when rice flew at the end, we knew we’d captured frames packed with feeling.

Day two shifted into modern elegance and real emotion. Natasha descended the North Hall staircase with her mum Deppa by her side, and what followed was one of those moments we live for - the newlyweds embracing just after the ceremony, visibly moved and completely present. Guests relaxed on the lawns, confetti flew from the grand steps, and the ballroom later looked unreal with long banqueting tables and hundreds of helium balloons floating overhead.

A video message from abroad brought tears, golden hour portraits got a colourful twist with leftover smoke bombs, and then the music went up and the dance floor turned properly wild - the perfect ending to a weekend like this.
