This was a pretty exciting song to cover. I love the song itself. It has a very zen-like quality to it. The timing might be tricky, but it feels very natural.
I changed from Cakewalk to Garageband for this one after the purchase of a MacBook Air. Edited the video with capcut which preserves the sound.
About the sound... well.
As you might hear, I tweaked a little on the settings of my bass itself, but there is still much work to be done. This is also the first song where I put some effort into adding plugins, sound-effects and equalizing. To my surprise, the adding of delay and the flanger went pretty well, but the EQ, compression etc... is still a challenge to me.
All by all, I am pretty happy with the result. This channel is, as you can read in my channel introduction a sandbox. Feel free to comment and give constructive feedback.
Next one is Fear Inoculum, and then the greatest challenge of this album, Invincible.
