Tekton vs Gearwrench Socket Set Comparison

Описание: I've been replacing some tools recently with price conscious sets that better fit my needs. Previously I had a Craftsman 122pc and Husky 40pc socket sets. Both had issues with skipping sizes and limited deep well coverage. The Husky set was my travel set since Stanley does a great job making sure the sockets fit snuggly in the case. The Craftsman set couldn't be moved without all the sockets falling out of place, so that set had stayed fairly stationary. This is a basic comparison video of the 3/8 sets I bought to replace those, the Tekton 45pc 13101 and the Gearwrench 80550F. The F is important on that part number, as it indicates you get both the 57pc 3/8 drive 80550 and the 51pc 1/4 drive 80300P together for a total count of 108. If you bought the Tekton 51pc 1/4 drive set (13001) with their 3/8 drive set, it is very price competitive with the Gearwrench combo. If you just need one of the two, than Tekton is the better value. There are just a couple key differences between the sets I go over in the video. Both sets are 6pt (Gearwrench offers a 12pt, but not in the combo), and neither have a dedicated spark plug socket. A difference I forgot to mention, Tekton uses a 72 tooth ratchet where Gearwrench uses an 84 tooth (The 1/4 set has the 120xp ratchet). Both are much finer tooth count than what I had been using with Craftsman or Stanley.
