Diving The HMS Moldavia, built for P&O by Caird & Co., Greenock, and launched on 28th March 1903. The Moldavia had been struck on the port side, just below the bridge, by a torpedo fired by UB57 of the Flanders Flotila. Over fifty men from B Company who were sleeping in the compartment where the explosion took place were killed instantly. She now sits in a depth of 50m on her port side, 30 nautical miles from Brighton.
