How Fascists Use the Media to Spread Hate: The Story of Father Coughlin

Описание: This is the story of Father Coughlin - a 1930's fascist preacher; a detestable, hateful individual who single handedly created the blueprint for today's hate radio.

It should be obvious to anyone (but if it isn't, please pay close attention to this part) that we in no way endorse the views of the people we talk about in this video series. In fact, we're doing the exact opposite.

However, it's important that we remember hateful individuals like Charles so that we can learn from them and recognize their hate for what it is, so that we're better able to prevent it in the future.

This is an ongoing series called 'The Cycles of Fascism" where Suris and I look at past and present fascists, and do our best to understand how they operate so we can better inform ourselves and hopefully, our audiences, in today's tumultuous political climate.
