Описание: A solenopsis invicta fourth instar larvae doing what she does best - eating like a pig. In reality, she plays a pivotal role in the colony's brood production by being the only larval stage that can digest solid food. She can then regurgitate that high protein liquid to a nursing worker ant through trophallaxis. The worker ant can then feed the protein liquid to the younger larvae and the queen.
